diaspora - the unknowable

Reissue of the first full length release by the group, released in limited numbers in 2001. A mix of digital & analogue sound sources & techniques produces a soundscape of throbbing pulses, off balance tones, deep drones, gritty noise textures & delicate high end electronics. Subject: I love that one!
Minimalist industrial dronescapes w/ mysterious electronic sounds. Restrained music with a sense of mystery. I could use new age vocabulary to describe this music but it's actually much more industrial and menacing. Some releases on the english Touch label have that feeling of 'suspension'. Check track #6 by all means: mesmerizing electronic loops and distant ghost sounds. Amazing.
